Driving along a steep road from the southern edge of the Sidamo coffee area, you'll see coffee carefully cultivated for about 35km up to Yirgacheffe Village (2,500m elevation). Blessed with fertile black soil and surrounded by rivers, forests, and lakes, the beautiful Yirgacheffe Village's symbol is Lake Abaya, one of the lakes most cherished by the Ethiopian people in the vicinity. While natural processing is predominant in Ethiopia, Yirgacheffe is traditionally finished with washed processing and sun drying. Among these, the top-grade Yirgacheffe is carefully selected.
